    Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places are very likely over Meghalaya is forecasted in the next few days.

    According to official weather forecast, moisture incursion is very likely to occur due to strong lower level Southerly/ South-westerly winds from the Bay of Bengal to Northeast India during 4-5 days .

    Under its influence, fairly widespread/widespread rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm/lightning and heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places very likely over Meghalaya during 15-17 May 2022 and heavy rainfall on 18 and 19 May 2022.
