Miscreants set ablaze a vehicle at Jhalupara

SHILLONG, NOV 22: Miscreants on Tuesday set ablaze a Scorpio bearing Assam registration number plate while it was parked along the roadside at Jhalupara.

The incident took place near Arya Vidyalaya School, Jhalupara, police said.

“Miscreants torched the Scorpio (AS 01 DK 5958) while it was parked on the roadside,” SP (City) Vivek Syiem said over phone.

He said the owner of the vehicle will be lodging an FIR into the matter.
