A day before inauguration of Jowai MCH, Govt issue advertisement for 400 doctors

Coincidence or compelled by the news items published by Syllad under the headline “Is inauguration of MCH Hospital an election propaganda?” on the mid noon of 2nd December, 2022, the Meghalaya Govt not only released the result of the staff nurses recruitment but also issued an advertisement for recruitment of 400 doctors.

Apparently, the result of staff nurses and the advertisement of doctors were issued in the evening of 2nd December, 2022 hours after the news items hit the readers.

According to the advertisement issued by the newly created Meghalaya Medical Services Recruitment Board, applications on online mode only are invited from individuals who are domicile in the state of Meghalaya for the Medical & Health Officers and Junior Specialists and the total number of vacant posts for both categories is 400.

The qualification for the post of medical and health officer is MBBS or equivalent degree holder from any recognized Medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with MCI/NMC.

While for the post of Junior Specialists, an applicant need to be MD, MS, DNB, DM, M.Ch Diploma or other equivalent degree from any recognized Medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with MCI/NMC.

An applicant should be 23 years and not more than 41 years old for recruitment at Grade III level relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. No age limit for candidates already appointed in Government service provided they entered government service within the prescribed age
limit.

Applicants are to register and apply and submit their applications through Online
mode only.

Link to the application portal will be made available in the official website of the office of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya. The Applicants are advised to kindly check the website given above. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.

The last date of application is on or before 10th December, 2022.
