World consumer Rights day observed

JOWAI: World Consumer Rights day was observed today in the Conference room DC’s office Jowai under the theme, “Trusted Smart Products” chaired by Smt. R.S Manners, Additional Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills, stating that without the consumers the products produce would be useless, therefore every consumers need to know their right and select products smartly.

SBI Branch Manager S T Ngaite through power point presentation presented on Smart digital products and products to select according to utility, service.

He also advice the public to be alert and be wise enough not to share OTP or Pin number to any third person for security as on many occasion many have been cheated. He also brief on the smartest product launch by SBI – Yono digital account, its features and benefit.
