Upper age limit for lecturer on UGC scale

Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Friday said that the upper age limit for lecturers on UGC scale of post in colleges is 32 years with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 

He was replying to a query raised by North Shillong legislator Adelbert Nongrum in the Assembly as to whether there is any age limit for the applicants in University Grants Commission (UGC) sanctioned posts of colleges in the state.
