Traffic arrangement for ordination of new Bishop of Nongstoin Diocese

The Meghalaya Police has chalked out elaborate traffic arrangement for the Episcopal Ordination of Father Wilbert Marwein the present Parish Priest of Divine Saviour Church, Nonbah West Khasi Hills as the new Bishop of Nongstoin Diocese at St. Peter Parish, Pyndengrei, Nongstoin on Sunday.

Police said that vehicles coming from Shillong, Mairang, Shallang, Mawshynrut & Langpih entry will be from FCI Junction, NH 44E.

Further, vehicles coming from Mawkyrwat are to proceed towards St. Peter Parish Main Gate.

The Police appealed to all locals residing in and around Nongstoin area attending the Episcopal Ordination to avoid using vehicles.

Police personnel and volunteers shall be in place at all important junctions.

Police urged the public avoid to parking vehicles along the road side but use the designated parking areas.
