Timing for shops opening and closing in Shillong Urban Agglomeration

The Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills District on Saturday has issued order for opening and closing hours of shops restaurants and eateries in Shillong Urban Agglomeration.

The order said that in order to slow down the spread of Covid-19 and to prevent an uncontrollable surge in cases, the following will take effect in Shillong Urban Agglomeration immediately:-

• All shops will close by 8:00 P.M Sharp. Restaurants and eateries will close by 9:00 P.M sharp.

• Shops and vendors will remain closed on Sundays. 

• Bars and wine shops will be regulated through a separate order.
