    SHILLONG: Spartans won the match against Langsning to booked a place in the semifinal of the Shillong League Super Division T20 tournament which was organized by the Shillong Cricket Association where it was played at the Polo Cricket ground today.

    Langsning won the toss and they elected to field first. A sensational century 106 off 71 balls from Kush Agarwal and Prashant Ojha 31 runs off 25 balls help to put up a big score of 172/4 from 20 overs for the Spartans. Prolin Phanjom and Aiborlang Wahlang took 1 wkt a piece for Langsning.

    In reply to the total of 172, Langsning batsmen managed to score 84/9 in 20 overs. Larry Warjri made 37 runs off 35 balls and Eugene Kharsyntiew 14 off 35 balls. Lakhan Singh and Arbind Singh took 2 wkt a piece from 3overs and 4 overs respectively.

    Spartan won the match by 88 runs and booked a place in the semifinal where they will play against NFU and TNT Sputnik against Riatsamthiah in the other semi final.
