    SHILLONG: Shillong Traffic Police will observe a two minutes silence tomorrow the 30th January, 2019 at the Rilang Building Meghalaya Secretariat as part to commemorate the freedom fighters who gave their lives for the struggle of India’s Freedom.

    A warning siren will be sounded for one minute at 10.59 hrs, a second siren at 1100 hrs. for the observation of two minutes  silence and after 1102 hrs.  the siren will be sounded to indicate the end of the period of silence.

    The Shillong Traffic police has requested all the citizens to stop their vehicles for two minutes at the hours mentioned above.
