Sensitization Programme for Police Personnel and NGOs organised in Shillong

As part of International Women’s Day 2023 celebration, the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with Meghalaya State Commission for Women organised a Sensitization Programme for Police Personnel and NGOs on Gender Equality and Violence against Women on 3^rd March, 2023 at the Conference Hall, KJP Assembly, Shillong.

During the day Resource Persons spoke on the topics “Understanding Gender and Power Relation and issues related to Women” and “Role of Police in addressing Violence against Women and immediate Police response”.
