SCA-B registered a massive 168-run victory over EJHDCA in the Under-16 Boys Inter District Tournament organised by the Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) on April 19. The league match was held at Madan Thad Mukhla Mission, Thadlaskein Block.

After winning the toss, SCA-B opted to bat first and posted 239 runs in 35.5 overs. Prasant Kumar scored a fine 64, while Mannan Surana added 57 runs. Anish Kedia 28 and Arav Baraily 19 also made useful contributions. Generous Dkhar was the standout bowler for EJHDCA, taking 4 wickets.

Due to weather interruptions, the match was reduced under the DLS method to 42 overs, with EJHDCA given a revised target of 221. However, they were bowled out for just 52 runs in 23.5 overs.

Arav Baraily was exceptional with the ball, picking up 6 wickets for only 9 runs. Generous Dkhar remained unbeaten on 14, but found no support from the other end.

With this dominant win, SCA-B strengthened their position in the league stage of the tournament.
