Rice release under NFSA and Non-NFSA in West Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills has informed that the NFSA (AAY, PHH) and Non-NFSA for the month of August, 2023 are being released to all FP shop dealers within the district from August 7 to 22.

Antyoda Anna Yojna (AAY) quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per Aay FI card free of cost for both Rural and Urban areas.  

Priority Household (PHH) quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs free of cost for both Rural and Urban areas.  

Non-NFSA quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 7.215 kgs per household at the rate fixed by the vigilance committee not to exceed Rs. 14 per kg for both rural and urban areas.

In view of the above, all the Fair Price Shop Dealers duly recommended by the competent authority are requested to collect the permits from the office of the Deputy Commissioner Supply and to complete the distribution of rice within the 10th September, 2023 by using ePos machine on online mode.
