Rescued baby finds hope: West Jaintia Hills District Child Protection Unit takes charge

The District Child Protect Unit of West Jaintia Hills District has issued a newsletter to inform the public that on June 22, 2023, an infant baby girl was abandoned in Krem Shohnoh, Mukhla near Ummulong CHC.

The infant baby is now under the care and protection of the District Child Protection Unit and Child Welfare Committee, West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai.

The bulletin issued urges any person /relatives having information of any sort regarding the child may kindly contact the following concerned Offices at the earliest (ie within a period of 60 days).
