Ri Bhoi District Cricket Association (RBDCA) registered a dominant 77-run win over East Khasi Hills Cricket Association (EKHCA) by DLS method in the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s Under-16 Boys Inter District Tournament 2025.

The match was played at Madan Thad, Mukhla Mission, and was reduced to 32 overs due to weather conditions.

Batting first after winning the toss, RBDCA posted 119 runs in 27.5 overs. Rooney L Nonglait top-scored with 34 runs from 53 balls, supported by Anmol Shah with 29 runs and Daniel Maring who chipped in with 13.

In reply, EKHCA struggled with the bat and were bowled out for just 28 runs in 17.1 overs, falling well short of the revised DLS target of 106.

RBDCA’s bowlers were in fine form. Daniel Maring was outstanding with figures of 3 for 4, while Nobojit Chettri took 3 for 8. Soham Shah and Anmol Shah grabbed 2 wickets each, sealing a comfortable win for RBDCA and strengthening their position in the league stage.
