POCSO court convicts Jen Pale to 15 years for raping minor

The Court of Special Judge POCSO, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has convicted and sentenced Henry @ Jen Pale to 15 (fifteen) years rigorous imprisonment for the rape of a minor child six years back.

The sentence is as per section 6 of POCSO Act with a fine of rupees Twenty thousand only (20,000/-)  and he is also sentenced to 7 (seven) years imprisonment for offence under section 506 IPC.

The accused was arrested in connection with Khliehriat Police Station C/No 112(06)2018 U/s 5(m)(n)/6 POCSO Act.
