NSUI demands NEHU to declare BA semester results

SHILLONG: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Meghalaya unit has demanded the authority of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) to declare the semester results of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses at the earliest.

The demand was made by the delegation of NSUI led by its president Bansharailang Pyngrope before the NEHU controller of examination D Chowdhury during a meeting held here on Tuesday. It was also attended by students from the university.

Pyngrope informed that the controller of examination has assured the delegation that his office will take stock of the matter by ensuring declaration of the semester results at the earliest.

Meanwhile, the president of the NSUI has also urged the examination authorities to take measure to prevent any delay in the declaration of the results in the future.
