No Water Supply in Jowai

The Sub-Divisional Officer (PHE) Electrical Sub-Division, Jowai, has issued an urgent notice on Monday stating that due to preventive and corrective maintenance works being carried out at one of the Treatment Plant Units of the Jowai Water Supply Scheme, with a capacity of 3.405 MLD, the water supply to Jowai town will be temporarily affected for a few days.

The notice read, “Efforts are being undertaken on a priority basis to restore normal water supply as soon as possible. We regret the inconvenience caused and request the general public to kindly bear with us during this period.”
