    SHILLONG: The Confederation of Hynniewtrep Social Organization (CoHSO) comprising of 14 pressure groups on Tuesday urged the people of the state to attend the public meeting to be held at Madan Student, Jaiaw on January 31, to discuss and in unity oppose the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.

    Chairman of CoHSO Robertjune Kharjarin said, “We urge all political parties, NGOs, religious leaders, MDCs, MLAs, traditional heads and the general public to attend the meeting with a sole objective to oppose the bill.”

    He informed that the theme for discussion during the general meeting is ‘No to CAB and Yes to ILP’.
