    The restriction on inter district movement is flouted by the banks employees posted in West Jaintia Hills District and residing in Shillong.

    According to informed sources, most of the bank employees posted in various banks in Jowai Town and other parts of West Jaintia Hills District are original residents of Shillong.

    Today being Friday, most of them returned home as to spend the weekend in Shillong as it is holiday being fourth Saturday.

    With a sticker of essential service On Bank Duty on their private vehicles, these bank employees returned home and pass by the check points in West Jaintia Hills District and in East Khasi Hills District.
