Newborn rescued near Civil Hospital Shillong, public urged to share any information

The District Child Protection Officer, District Child Protection Unit, East Khasi Hills has informed that a newborn infant girl was abandoned at a pan shop near Civil Hospital, Shillong at around 5:30 AM.

The said infant is now under the care and protection of Lawei Baphyrnai, Specialised Adoption Agency, Shillong.

Any person(s) or relatives having any information regarding the above-mentioned infant are kindly requested to contact the following within 60 days:
