National Lok Adalat settled 102 cases in Meghalaya

The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority has organised the National Lok Adalat on Saturday in all the districts of the State of Meghalaya, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).

During the National Lok Adalat, 562 Pre-Litigation cases and 503 pending cases were taken up for settlement.

A total number of cases taken up was 1065, and of which 102 cases were settled for a total amount of ` 52,60,488/- (Rupees Fifty two lakhs sixty thousand four hundred and eighty eight) only in the National Lok Adalat.
