MPSC issues corrigendum on age criteria for Assistant Inspector of Excise post

The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued a corrigendum concerning the age criteria for the post of Assistant Inspector of Excise, advertised under Advt. No. 02/2024 dated November 20, 2024.

As per the corrigendum, the “Age Criteria” at PARA 1, Post Code 02 should be read as 18 to 27 years, with the upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. This replaces the earlier mentioned age limit of 18 to 32 years.

The update follows Letter No. MEG/CE-74/2009/167 from the Commissioner of Excise, dated November 22, 2024.
