    The Expert Committee on the State Reservation Policy has informed that the last date for submission of consultations, suggestions, and comments has been extended to July 15, 2024.

    A notice issued by the committee, references earlier notices from May 2, 2024, and May 22, 2024, states that Justice (Retired) Mool Chand Garg, Chairman of the Expert Committee on the State Reservation Policy, Meghalaya, is pleased to inform all stakeholders that the deadline for submitting consultations, suggestions, and comments on the State Reservation Policy has been extended to July 15, 2024. This deadline will not be extended further.

    The dates for Public Hearings will be communicated as previously notified.

    Persons, stakeholders, and NGOs from the district who wish to provide suggestions or comments on the State Reservation Policy can submit them in writing. Submissions should be addressed to Mr. L.K. Diengdoh, Secretary, Expert Committee, Personnel & AR(B) Department, Room 513, Meghalaya Civil Secretariat (Main Building), Shillong, 793001, or via email at [email protected].
