    The Meghalaya Police has resumed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) following the earlier cancellation due to technical issues at the 1st MLP Battalion in Mawiong and the 4th MLP Battalion in Sohpian.

    Dalton P. Marak, IPS, Inspector General of Police (SB/Bdr.) and Chairman of the Central Recruitment Board (CRB), informed that the PET is now being conducted as per a revised schedule.

    As stated in the press release issued on December 5, 2024, the PET at the Sahbsein, Jowai center is currently ongoing and will conclude on 20th December 2024. The test will continue at four centers:

    1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, Shillong
    2nd MLP Bn., Goeragre, Tura
    4th MLP Bn., Sohpian, Nongstoin
    5th MLP Bn., Samanda, Williamnagar

    Admit cards for candidates appearing at the four remaining centers are available for download from 16th December 2024 on the official Meghalaya Police website, www.megpolice.gov.in.

    Dalton P. Marak stated that candidates requesting a change in their PET date must submit an application to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, either at the CRB office in Mawroh, Shillong, or by email at [email protected]. Such requests will only be accepted once and must be supported by valid reasons. The last date for submitting requests is 2nd January 2025.

    Candidates are advised to check the official Meghalaya Police website regularly for updates.
