    The Phase 1 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 commenced on Friday with voting taking place for 102 parliamentary seats across 21 states and union territories.

    As per the latest update from the Election Commission of India, the voter turnout in Meghalaya recorded at 48.14 percent by 01:24 PM.

    The voter turnout for the Shillong Parliamentary Seat was 49.15 percent, while for Tura it was 46.44 percent.
