Meghalaya CM admitted in Shillong Civil Hospital after tested positive for Scrub Typhus
Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma felt unwell on 22nd of August with high temperature and severe illness. He was treated at home. However after blood tests it was identified as Scrub Typhus and Typhoid.
Due to persistent high fever, the Chirf Minister was admitted to Civil Hospital, Shillong today.
Medications have been provided by the senior specialists in the Civil Hospital. His condition is being closely observed.
Although he still suffers from severe symptoms of this climate change disease, his vitals sign are within normal range and is being treated under constant supervision.
