    One Pynshngainborlang Wansai has been convicted and sent to 14 years rigorous imprisonment under the POCSO Act.

    In its judgment passed on April 21, the Court of SG Momin, Special Judge (POCSO) East Khasi Hills Shillong has convicted the accused Pynshngainborlang Wansai, who has been found guilty and sentenced to undergo: 14 years rigorous imprisonment with fine of Rs 10000 for an offence punishable under section 6 of POCSO Act and in default of payment of fine, further imprisonment of two months.

    The case was investigated by WP SI L Kharjana, who is presently posted at Lumdiengjri police station.
