Landslide in National Highway 06

Due to inclement weather for the past few days in East Jaintia Hills, there has been a minor landslide on NH06 at Pyrtakuna village at around 9 am on Monday in the stretch between Kuliang and Umkiang.

One way movement of traffic at a time is being regulated at the landslide site and drivers are advised to drive cautiously.

Till 1 pm of Monday, all out efforts are on to clear the landslide that occurred at Pyrtakuna village on NH06 this morning.

One way traffic is moving and drivers are again advised to drive cautiously.
