Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) led by Pyndap Saibon has threatened to conduct surprise checking against illegal transportation of coal to expose those involved in the activity.

This was also sending a clear message that the KHNAM is accepting the challenge made by the Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong for coming up with proof and evidence to substantiate the alleged illegal transportation of coal.

In a statement on Wednesday, Saibon said that the illegal transportation of coal seems to have caught the eye of many in the state wherein there seems many involved.

“Our Deputy CM has challenged for proof and evidence to substantiate such illegal transportation. Therefore, our various units/circles have been in constant communication wherein a surprise checking will be conducted at an appropriate time so as to be able to highlight all those involved,” the KHNAM president added.
