Ka Shillong Hyundai celebrates 10th anniversary with 5,000+ happy customers in Meghalaya

Ka Shillong Hyundai, an authorised car dealer in Shillong celebrated its 10th Anniversary at Mawïongrim, Shillong showroom on Tuesday.

Ka Shillong Hyundai was established on 25th October 2010 by Mr. KT Marbaniang (Owner/ Proprietor). Since its inception, it has been one of the premier authorised car dealership in Shillong dealing with Sale Service and Spare Parts of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) all under one roof.

Rajib Das, general manager Ka Shillong Hyundai said “During our journey in the last 10 years, which we started in Shillong and then moved on to Jowai and Nongpoh, with the hope to re-establish the Hyundai brand in the State of Meghalaya. More than the number of cars sold, we wanted to focus our journey to build a strong relationship with our customers. This has shown with almost 5,000 happy customers. Numerous awards have been received from the company in all areas of our showroom. Be it the “Best New Dealer Facility in the East Region for the Year 2010”, “Highest Retail/Order Volume Growth”, “H-Promise- Best Overall Performance”, “Best Performer in Parts for East Region”, “Best Performance in Service” to “Zero Customer Complaints in 2017 & 2018” and “Highest Customer Satisfaction Rating of 971 points in 2019.”

“We have started the journey with just 3 employees in the year 2010 and now we have a strong team of more than 100 employees,” said Rajib Das.

“For our CSR initiative, we have always looked at hiring and training our local youths, we have actively supported the local Dorbar Shnong in any social or sporting activities that take place. We have also supported the 1st MLP Battalion for their sporting activities and engagements.”

“Ka Shillong Hyundai has been associated as channel partners for all major events in the city like the shillong Autumn Festival, Cherry Blossom Festival and Shillong Fashion Society’s Miss Shillong. We have also been partnering with the Shillong International Trade Fair which is an annual event held at Madan lewrynghep, Fire Brigade-Shillong,” added Rajib.

He also said “Ka Shillong Hyundai have also conceptualised in house designs and executed the Highway Patrol Cars for the Meghalaya Police.”

KT Marbniang, owner Ka Shillong Hyundai thanks all the team of Ka Shillong Hyundai and all the customers, manufacturer HMIL who supported the organisation to reach this milestone.

Cash awards and mementoes were distributed to the employees who have served for the success of Ka Shillong Hyundai. Khrisna Das, Incharge Spare Parts and B Sangma Senior Service Advisor received a cash award of Rs.1 lakh each (fixed deposit). The employees have been working since the inceptions of Ka Shillong Hyundai.

The owner of Ka Shillong Hyundai gifted his general manger with a new Hyundai i20 for completing 10 years of service in the company.
