Governor visits South West Khasi Hills

As part of  a two days visit to South West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya Governor, Phagu Chauhan on Sunday arrived in Mawkyrwat where he was given a ceremonial welcome in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner of the District, T Lyngwa, IAS and the Superintendent of Police, Shri. Goldenbert D Kharwanlang, MPS at the Circuit House, Mawkyrwat.

During his visit the Governor will meet with officials of central agencies, heads of departments, district administration and villages headman of nearby villages. He will also visit Maharam Higher Secondary School, Civil Hospital, Mawkyrwat and inspect some of the construction works under MGNREGA at Mawpon, Mawkyrwat.
