Governor inducted as Chief Patron of Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides
Governor Phagu Chauhan was officially inducted as the Chief Patron of Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Shillong on Thursday.
The induction of the Governor as Chief Patron is a significant milestone for Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides and the organisation is confident that with his extensive experience and leadership. The Governor will provide guidance and support to the organization in its endeavors to empower and mentor the youth of Meghalaya.
The official induction of the Governor, was conducted by the State Training Commissioner Aidor Ryngksai, LT(S), symbolizing the transfer of responsibility and trust.
Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides is a renowned organization that aims to in still values, discipline, and leadership qualities among the youth through various scouting and guiding activities. With the Governor’s patronage, the organization is poised to reach new heights and make a lasting impact on the young minds of Meghalaya.
The event witnessed the presence of the Commissioner and Secretary to Governor, BDR Tiwari, the esteemed members of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides, Vice President EP Kharbhih, IAS (retd), Dr. MPR Lyngdoh, J Begum, State Secretary W Lyngdoh, Jt. State Secretary Dr TK Bamon and State Training Commissioner Aidor Ryngksai, LT (S).
