The National Cricket Academy (NCA) of the BCCI has selected four players from the Meghalaya Cricket Association to attend a Zonal Cricket Academy (ZCA) camp in Guwahati from next month.

The players are Jarrett Medonlang Wanniang of Christian Academy, Riatsamthiah; Gaurav Jyoti Thakuria of BK Bajoria School, Boyce Road; Angkit Tamang of Kendriya Vidyalaya, NEHU; and Rudra Singh Rathore of St Xavier’s Secondary School, Polo.

The camp will run from 17 April to 11 May.

A total of 25 players from all over the country have been selected to attend by the All India Junior Boys Selection Committee of the BCCI.

Those chosen have been selected on the basis of their good performances during the recently-concluded U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy for boys, which was held from 1 to 23 December 2022 in Baroda.
