Five more tests positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya rose to 7 after another five returnees were tested positive on Tuesday. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said that the five persons have returned from Delhi-Haryana recently.
“Five more people who came recently from Delhi-Haryana have been tested positive for COVID-19. They are at Corona Care Centre, Shillong and asymptomatic. Total active cases in the state as of now is 7 (2+5),” Sangma’s said on his Twitter handle.

Earlier, two returnees from Chennai were tested positive.
