EVM Awareness Programme in West Jaintia Hills

To ensure that the voters are well informed about the electoral process, the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills has informed that the office of the Deputy Commissioner Election Branch has been conducting EVM Awareness Programme in every Polling Stations of the four Assembly Constituencies under West Jaintia Hills District from 13^th December 2023 onwards. 

The EVM Awareness Programme in the Polling Stations has been conducted through the Mobile Demonstration Van (MDV) in the presence of BLO Supervisors and election staff. An EVM Demonstration Centre (EDC) is also set up for the general public in the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Election), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai from 19^th December, 2023 onwards, those interested can visit the office from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily on all working days.
