EOI floated for 21 Eklavya Model Residential Schools: Rakkam

The state government has floated expression of interest (EOI) for over 20 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).

Informing this on Thursday, education minister Rakkam A Sangma said some of the EMRS have been completed and some are still lying incomplete.

“We have about 20 plus schools which are already completed and we have floated the EOI inviting interested groups to participate,” he said. According to him, such schools will not be run by the government. The government is only creating the necessary infrastructures.
