Election Expenditure Observer held a meeting in Jowai

The expenditure observers for Shillong Parliamentary constituency, Satyapal S Meena and Kamlesh Kumar visited Jowai, West Jaintia Hills District and conducted a meeting with Expenditure Monitoring team in the conference room, DC ‘s office on Tuesday.

The meeting was held to assess the preparedness and ongoing activities related to election expenditure in view of the upcoming general Election to Lok Sabha.

In the meeting the expenditure observers discussed roles and responsibilities of the Expenditure Monitoring Team and advised the members to work in close coordination and timely compilation of reports.

The meeting was attended by BS Sohliya, District Election Officer, Assistant Returning officers, Nodal officers and Expenditure Monitoring teams.
