    East Jaintia Hills District Cricket Association (EJHDCA) finished the league with a convincing nine-wicket win over West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association (WKHDCA) in the MCA Under-16 Boys Inter District Tournament 2025, securing two wins from their four matches.

    After winning the toss and opting to bat first, WKHDCA were bowled out for just 55 runs in 19.2 overs. Ador Nongbri was the top scorer for WKHDCA with 16 runs, but the team struggled against EJHDCA’s disciplined bowling attack. Generous Dkhar was the standout bowler, claiming five wickets for 25 runs, while Nikhil Dkhar and I Thuh Bha Dkhar also contributed with key wickets.

    Chasing a modest target of 56 runs, EJHDCA completed the chase in just 6.2 overs, finishing at 58 for 1. Wadkidamei Lapasam remained unbeaten on 22 runs, and Generous Dkhar added 13 not out, guiding the team to a comfortable victory.

    With two wins from four matches, EJHDCA stands second in Group A with five points. SCA-B leads the standings with three wins from three matches and six points. South West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association (SWKHDCA) is in third place with two points from two matches, having won one and lost one. SCA-A is in fourth position with two points from three matches, while WKHDCA, after four matches, has yet to register a win and sits at the bottom of the table with one point.

    In Group B, RBDCA leads with three wins from three matches and six points. EKHCA and EWKHDCA are both tied with two points, having played two matches each, with one win and one loss. WJHDCA is at the bottom of Group B with three losses from three matches and zero points.

    The semi-finals will be played between the top team from Zone 1 and the team with the best NRR across both groups.
