Dry Days declared

JOWAI: The Deputy Commissioner (excise), West Jaintia Hills District has declared Dry Days in the entire District on 9^th, 10^th & 11^th April, 2019 being the polling date to the upcoming General Election to the Lok Sabha, 2019 and the Bye Election to 48 Selsella (ST) Constituency and on 23^rd May, 2019 being the day posted for counting of votes.

All liquor shops,(country spirit and foreign liquor) Outstills, bar and all licensed premises shall remain closed on the above mentioned dates.

The Deputy Commissioner has also urged the voters of the District to come out on the polling day the 11^th April, 2019 and cast their vote from 7Am to 4 Pm.
