Dry Day Declared in East Jaintia Hills

The District Election Officer, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has declared Dry Days on 25th, 26th, 27th February, 2023 in view of the upcoming poll to be held on the 27th  February, 2023.

Dry Day has also been declared on the 2nd March, 2023 being the day posted for counting of votes in order to ensure peaceful free and fair conduct of the election.

All wholesalers, IMFL retailers, Bars, Canteen, and Outstills shall remain closed in the entire area of East Jaintia Hills District on the above-mentioned dates. Any violation of this order will be viewed seriously.
