Day-1 of the Cherry Blossom Festival cancelled
The management of Cherry Blossoms Festival has informed that the first day of the three days long festival scheduled on Friday stand cancelled due to inclement weather.
An important announcement released by the management said,” Impending rain poses a potential risk to all festival goers and collaborators, and your safety is our top priority.”
They informed that Day 1 ticket holders will be given free access to either Day 2 or Day 3. Season Pass Holders will get the amount of the Day-1 show refunded on their RFID cards.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding,” the management added .
This year Cherry Blossoms Festival has become controversial due to opposition from a section of the society over the culmination of the festival on Sunday.
The NPP led MDA Government finally shifted the timing of the final day of the festival to 3pm on Sunday
