Creation of C&RD blocks is a continuous process: Mondal

Minister incharge Community & Rural Development (C&RD) Abu Taher Mondal on Tuesday said creation of new C&RD blocks is a continuous process.

“It is not that we have created some blocks in the last term so no further blocks will be created,” Mondal said while reacting to a query on the demand for creation of Mawsynram block.

“Depending on the difficulties that our people faced to reach to the administrative units, to make easier for the people, accessibility is there, on that basis it is a continuous process. The moment formalities are over we will declare, it all depends on how we go about it,” he said.

Asked, the minister said, “Exactly I can’t say that when it will be declared.”
