COVID-19 Lockdown: Village dorbar extends financial support to taxi drivers

The core committee of the Pynthorumkhrah Golflinks village dorbar on Tuesday extended financial support to its residents who are taxi drivers.

Acting headman M Hek said the decision was taken after the committee has found out that many residents who are taxi drivers have been badly affected due to the national lockdown to combat COVID-19 pandemic. 

Apart from this, he informed that the committee has also extended financial assistance to many poor families for buying essential commodities.
