Cong youth leaders, 20 others join NPP

Youth leaders of the opposition Congress in West Khasi Hills district have resigned from the party and joined the ruling National People’s Party. 

President Youth Congress from Pyndengrei Primary Unit, Kynsaibor Kharbani and general secretary Bestarjohn Lyngdoh along with 20 other members were formally welcomed by Nongstoin MLA and NPP Nongstoin Block president, Macmillan Byrsat.

“The door of NPP is always open and the party will always accept anyone who wanted to join for the development in Nongstoin” Macmillan said.
