    The Meghalaya Government has notified the constitution of Screening Committee for selection of PM SHRI Schools (PM Schools for Rising India) in the State of Meghalaya.

    The Committee comprises of the Commissioner & Secretary, Education Department & State Mission Director, SSA-SEMAM as the Chairman; State Project Director, SSA-SEMAM & Director of School Education & Literacy as Member Secretary and Secretary, Education Department: Educational Research & Training, Secretary, Education Department: Higher Education, Deputy Secretary Education Department and Deputy State Project Director, SSA-SEMAM as Members.

    The terms of reference of the Committee is to verify the claims reported by the Schools and to recommend the list of Schools to the Ministry and to suggest steps to incorporate State’s recommended Schools for the Phase-II.
