Centre sanctions Rs 111 cr for three ADCs in Meghalaya

SHILLONG 4: The Centre has sanctioned special assistance grant amounting to Rs 111 crore for the three district councils – KHADC, JHADC and GHADC in Meghalaya.

Addressing pressmen on Monday, outgoing KHADC Chief Hisprechering Son Shylla informed that the amount released was for the financial year 2018-2019.

“Of Rs 111 crore, the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) alone is likely to get Rs 52 crore,” Shylla said.
