Ban on gathering of 5 people within vicinity of DC Office Jowai lifted

District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills District BS Sohliya, IAS on Monday lifted the prohibitory order prohibiting gathering of more than 05 (five) persons within 100 metres in and around Deputy Commissioner’s Compound.

The prohibitory order issued under Section 144 CrPC after more than five (5) people in inebriated state gathered in around Deputy Commissioner’s office compound, Jowai on Thursday night, last which is the day of counting of votes.
