    The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) has attributed the adoption of new digital intervention for the early declaration of SSLC and HSSLC results in comparison to previous years.

    According to an official communique, a grand total number of 29,278 students appeared in the HSSLC Examination for the Arts, Science, Commerce & Vocational Stream conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education 2025 from 18th February to 19th March 2025

    Out of which, 22,835 belonged to the Arts stream while 3,922 from Science stream and 2,501 from Commerce stream beside 20 Vocational stream students.

    Out of the total number of students who appeared the examination 3,253 passed in the Science Stream with pass percentage of 82:94%.

    While 2,033 passed in the Commerce Stream with a pass percentage of 81:28% and 18,736 passed in the Arts Stream with a pass percentage of 82:05% and 17 in the Vocational Stream with a pass percentage of 85%. 

    The rank Holders (Top Ten) in the three Streams Arts, Commerce and Science are mostly from the Urban institutions.

    The conduct of the examination went off smoothly with the cooperation of the Education Department, District Administration, Police Department, Heads of Institutions and especially the teachers who worked tirelessly during the entire process.

    The concerted efforts of all concerned contributed to the conduct of the examination successfully.

    “We acknowledge the contribution of the different Schools in imparting education to their students who come from different backgrounds,” said an official communique from MBoSE.
