Wheel Chairs will be provided for PwDs on the polling day

JOWAI: The District Election Officer, West Jaintia Hills has informed that Wheel Chairs will be provided to voters with disability on the polling day. Three (3) Wheel Chairs has been arranged for the PwDs at Madan Kynsaw B, Mulieh and Mawtyrshiah under Laskein PHC and at Thangrain A under Barato PHC.

The District Election Officer has further urged the general public that if anybody needs Wheel chair on the polling may contact  toll free No 1950 and those required may mention the details of the polling station and the name of the registered PwD, so as to enable the District Administration to arrange sufficient  number of the same.
