  • West Jaintia police contributed Rs.70000 to CM’s Relief Fund

    JOWAI: The men and women of the west jaintia hills police department has donated Rs.70000/- to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on Tuesday’s afternoon.

    This is in respond to the clarion call of Chief Minister for contributing to the Relief Funds for providing assistances to the people in need during natural calamities.

    The officers and police personnel performing duty in West Jaintia Hills District  comprising un-Armed Branch, Armed Branch, Battalion, SF-10, Meghalaya Police Radio Organisation (MPRO) and Fire and Emergency Service (F&ES) performing duty in the district pooled up the amount of Rs. 70,000 collectively.

    The contributed amount was handed by Lakador Syiem, MPS, Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills District to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma at Dawki before his departure of to Bangladesh for an official engagement.
